Hellas Cena is Full Professor at the Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine, University of Pavia, and Pro-Rector for the Third Mission of the University. She is Head of the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Service at the Unit of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, ICS Maugeri IRCCS, and leads the Laboratory of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition (LDNC). Holding an MD and postgraduate degrees in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, her research encompasses childhood obesity, eating behavior, medical nutrition therapy across women’s lifespans, nutrition in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, and bariatric surgery.
