Cecilia Ricciardi Rizzo is a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine, University of Pavia. Her research focuses on the interplay between nutrition, gut microbiota, and chronic disease in pediatric and adult populations, with particular expertise in childhood obesity and functional gastrointestinal disorders. She has contributed to the development of Italian clinical practice guidelines on diagnosing and treating obesity in adults.
