Austin Argentieri is a Research Fellow at the Analytic and Translational Genetics Unit (ATGU), Massachusetts General Hospital, with academic appointments at Harvard Medical School and the Broad Institute. He holds a DPhil from the University of Oxford, where he conducted postdoctoral research in large-scale population health analysis. His research focuses on the genetic, biological, and environmental determinants of human aging and age-related diseases, integrating exposomics, genomics, metabolomics, and proteomics data from large population cohorts. He is best known for developing a proteomic clock published in Nature Medicine that uses approximately 3,000 blood plasma proteins to predict biological age and forecast mortality and chronic disease risk across diverse populations.

Francesca Baglio is a neurologist and Research Coordinator of the MRI Laboratory at IRCCS Don Carlo Gnocchi, Milan, and Adjunct Professor of Neurology at the University of Milan-Bicocca. Her research centers on neuropsychological assessment, multimodal neuroimaging, and digital therapeutics for neurological rehabilitation, with a particular focus on neurodegenerative diseases and cognitive decline across the aging spectrum. She has contributed to landmark studies on the neural correlates of memory, attention, and executive function, and has developed and validated cognitive assessment tools for aging populations. She has published more than 258 peer-reviewed articles and has been cited by over 4,300 researchers in neurology, neuropsychology, and rehabilitation medicine.

Stefano Barabino is a Professor of Ophthalmology and Head of the Ocular Surface Center at Sacco Hospital, University of Milan. He holds an MD from the University of Genoa (1998), completed a residency in Ophthalmology (2002), obtained a PhD in Immunology (2005), and undertook a two-year fellowship at Harvard University. A specialist in dry eye and age-related ocular surface diseases, he has published more than 200 scientific articles and serves on the editorial boards of multiple international journals including Ocular Immunology & Inflammation and The Ocular Surface. He is a founding member of the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) and President of the Italian Society of Ocular Surface.

Alberto Beretta is a physician-scientist and immunologist, founder and President of SoLongevity Foundation. He earned his MD from the University of Pavia (1978) and a PhD in basic immunology from the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm (1985). He began his research career at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, contributing to early HIV research, and later served as Director of the HIV Immunobiology Unit at San Raffaele Hospital, Milan. Over the past decade, he has directed his focus to the biology of healthy aging, exploring genetic and epigenetic mechanisms that determine individual aging trajectories. Enrico Bevacqua is a physician specializing in functional medicine, psychoneuroimmunology, and microbiome science. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the State University of Milan and holds a Master’s degree in Psychoneuroimmunology from Sapienza University of Rome, as well as professional diplomas in Functional and Nutritional Medicine and Anti-Aging Medicine. His clinical and educational work focuses on the gut-brain axis, exploring the bidirectional connections between intestinal microbiota and neurological and immune function. He is recognized as a leading Italian expert in translating microbiome science into clinical practice, addressing the role of gut health in aging, systemic inflammation, cognitive performance, and chronic disease prevention.

Luca Bianchi has over 15 years of experience in the IT sector, he has held technological leadership roles in several innovative companies. He served as CTO of Neosperience Health, a division dedicated to the application of AI and digital health in the healthcare sector, and CTO of LIDIA, a startup focused on conversational AI solutions. He also co-founded Radixia, a company active in digital innovation.*

He graduated in Computer Science from the University of Pavia, he is an international speaker on topics of Cloud Computing, distributed architectures, and Generative Artificial Intelligence. He collaborates with Fondazione SoLongevity ETS on consulting projects in the Cloud and AI fields applied to longevity research.*

Virginia Boccardi is Full Professor and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Gerontology and Geriatrics, Department of Medicine, University of Perugia, and Medical Director of the Geriatrics Section at Santa Maria della Misericordia Hospital, Perugia. She earned her MD (2007), completed a residency in geriatrics (2012), and obtained a PhD in Metabolism and Aging (2015) at the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli. She spent two years as a research fellow at UMDNJ (USA), focusing on aging, cancer, cellular senescence, and telomere biology. Her research addresses molecular and metabolic aspects of aging, cognitive impairment, diabetes, and nutrition-aging interactions. She has published over 150 peer-reviewed articles and created the Cally Index for geriatric prognosis.

Davide Cacchiarelli is an Associate Professor of Molecular Biology (Rita Levi-Montalcini program) at the University of Naples Federico II and Head of the Laboratory of Integrative Genomics at TIGEM (Telethon Institute of Genetics and Medicine). Born in Rome in 1984, he earned his PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology and conducted postdoctoral research at Harvard University and the Broad Institute of MIT, studying cell fate transitions using genomic approaches. Returning to Italy in 2017 with support from the Telethon and Armenise-Harvard Foundations, his laboratory investigates cell fate dynamics in aging, disease, and reprogramming. He was awarded an ERC Starting Grant and the Alfredo Margreth Prize in Cellular Biology (2024).

Paolo Capodaglio is Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Milano and Director of the Musculoskeletal and Metabolic Rehabilitation Unit and the Laboratory for Research in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation at Istituto Auxologico Italiano IRCCS. He earned his MD and specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Pavia. His research focuses on functional evaluation in aging and pathological conditions — including musculoskeletal disorders, obesity, and metabolic diseases — and the effectiveness of novel rehabilitation technologies such as photobiomodulation, cryotherapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Eugenio Caradonna is a cardiovascular surgeon and Past President of the Italian Society of Regenerative Medicine, currently serving as Senior Scientific Advisor at CDI Centro Diagnostico Italiano, Milan. He earned his MD from the Catholic University and a Master’s in Public Health from Bocconi University, and received surgical training in cardiovascular surgery in the Netherlands, becoming a Fellow of the University of Ontario. He previously served as Consultant and Deputy Scientific Director at Gemelli Molise, Catholic University (2007–2023). His research focuses on autologous stem cells derived from bone marrow for cardiovascular applications, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and novel biomarkers in regenerative medicine. Giuseppe Cardillo is a clinical biochemist and founder of MEDyLAB, an advanced clinical biochemistry laboratory specializing in innovative analyses at the frontier of precision diagnostics. He graduated in Chemistry with a biological focus, with a thesis on structural analysis of the CFTR gene in cystic fibrosis patients. He dedicated his career to developing novel biochemical approaches for assessing metabolic function and systemic health. MEDyLAB offers non-canonical blood chemistry analyses that bridge academic research and clinical practice, with particular expertise in advanced biomarker interpretation, cellular biochemistry, and the integration of laboratory data in longevity medicine. Pedro Carrera Bastos is a researcher in nutritional science at Lund University (Sweden) and Universidad Europea de Madrid (Spain), and Invited Assistant Professor at the Rio Maior School of Sport, Santarém Polytechnic University (Portugal). He holds a PhD in Nutrition and is co-founder of CEAN, a Spanish institution providing advanced nutrition training for healthcare professionals. His research focuses on chronic inflammation, cardiometabolic and immune biomarkers, nutritional assessment, and lifestyle interventions for autoimmune and metabolic diseases. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has delivered over 500 lectures across four continents on topics spanning evolutionary nutrition, micronutrients, longevity biomarkers, and the immune profile of centenarians.

Hellas Cena is Full Professor at the Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine, University of Pavia, and Pro-Rector for the Third Mission of the University. She is Head of the Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics Service at the Unit of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, ICS Maugeri IRCCS, and leads the Laboratory of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition (LDNC). Holding an MD and postgraduate degrees in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, her research encompasses childhood obesity, eating behavior, medical nutrition therapy across women’s lifespans, nutrition in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, and bariatric surgery. She is Scientific Director of the Longevity Medicine Course.

Alberto Cerasari is a Sports Medicine physician and Longevity Doctor. He graduated in Medicine and Surgery from La Sapienza University of Rome (2015) and specialized in Sports Medicine and Exercise Physiology at the University of Perugia (2021). He currently serves as Medical Director of the SoLongevity Longevity Clinic in Milan, coordinating personalized patient pathways that integrate lifestyle medicine — nutrition, physical activity, sleep, and stress management — with advanced diagnostics including blood chemistry, genetic and epigenetic analyses, urinary metabolomics, and gut microbiota assessment. Saverio Cinti is Full Professor of Human Anatomy and Director of the Center of Obesity at the Università Politecnica delle Marche (Ancona). He graduated from the University of Padua (1974) and completed specializations in Internal Medicine and Surgical Pathology. He has held visiting professorships at Harvard Medical School, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Copenhagen University. His research over four decades has fundamentally advanced the understanding of white and brown adipose tissue biology, their metabolic roles, and involvement in obesity and metabolic disease. He is a former President of the Italian Society of Obesity, and recipient of the Blaise Pascal Medal from the European Academy of Sciences (2008) and the Friedrich Wassermann Prize from EASO (2013).

Maria Vittoria Conti is a Nutritionist Biologist and Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition, Department of Public Health, Experimental and Forensic Medicine, University of Pavia. She holds an MSc and postgraduate degree in Nutrition Science. Her research addresses clinical nutrition and lifestyle medicine, with a focus on malnutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, childhood obesity, and diet-related non-communicable diseases, with particular attention to vulnerable populations. She also contributes to research on precision nutrition using omics approaches, integrating genomics, metabolomics, and microbiome data for personalized dietary strategies targeted at chronic disease prevention and healthy aging.

Andrea Cossarizza is Full Professor of Pathology and Immunology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he serves as Director of the Flow Cytometry Core Facility and Vice-Rector for Research. He is internationally renowned for his research on immunosenescence — the decline of immune function with aging — and for innovative applications of flow cytometry to study cellular mechanisms of disease and immune aging. He is Past-President of the International Society for Advancement of Cytometry (ISAC) and lead author of three editions of the widely cited Guidelines for the use of flow cytometry and cell sorting in immunological studies. He has published more than 460 full papers in peer-reviewed journals.

Roberta Costanzo is a physician specializing in regenerative and infusion medicine at SoLongevity Clinic, Milan. She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan (2012) and holds diplomas in Aesthetic Medicine (IAEM, Parma) and Functional and Regulatory Medicine (AIMF). She is a founding member of multiple professional organizations including the Italian College of Oxygen-Ozone Therapy (CIO3), the Swiss Italian Anti-Aging Medicine Society (SMAISI), and the Italian Association of Functional Medicine (AIMF). She holds an MSc and PhD in Public Health Nutrition and teaches Food Safety and Laboratory Medicine at Pavia’s Dietetics degree programs. Her research spans bariatric surgery nutrition, pediatric obesity, neurodegenerative disease dietary interventions, and the impact of environmental contaminants on infant gut microbiota. She is affiliated with the international Food NET project exploring nutritional strategies to preserve healthy aging, and has co-authored publications on multiple sclerosis and plant oil supplementation.

Ugo Faraguna is Associate Professor at the Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery (Physiology Sector), University of Pisa. He earned his MD from the University of Pisa and conducted seven years of doctoral and postdoctoral research at the Center for Sleep and Consciousness, University of Wisconsin-Madison (Prof. Giulio Tononi’s lab). His research focuses on sleep-wake cycle regulation, high-definition electroencephalography (hdEEG), local sleep phenomena in development and aging, and low-cost actigraphic technologies for population monitoring. He founded the Sonnolab sleep research center (2012) and is co-founder of Sleepacta s.r.l., a University of Pisa spin-off dedicated to sleep diagnostics.

Paolo Fiorina is Associate Professor of Endocrinology at the University of Milan and Chief of Endocrinology at Fatebenefratelli-Sacco-Melloni Hospitals. He earned his MD from the University of Milan and PhD in Immunology from the University of Parma, and spent six years studying islet transplantation immunology at San Raffaele Scientific Institute before joining Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in 2004 as a research fellow, becoming Assistant Professor of Nephrology in 2009. His research focuses on autoimmune diabetes, beta cell replacement through islet transplantation, diabetic nephropathy, and GLP-1 receptor agonist immunology. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed manuscripts with more than 18,460 citations and an h-index of 44.

Claudio Franceschi is Professor Emeritus at the University of Bologna and Professor at Lobachevsky State University, Nizhny Novgorod. He obtained his MD in Pathology and Immunology from the University of Bologna (1967) and devoted his career to understanding the biology of aging and longevity. He introduced the concept of ‘inflammaging’ in 2000, describing the chronic low-grade inflammation underlying aging and most age-related diseases. As a pioneer in centenarian research, he has published more than 600 peer-reviewed articles on genomics, epigenomics, gut microbiota, and longevity genetics. He has received the Hayflick Lecturer Award (2012) and honorary professorships from the Universities of Nottingham and Bordeaux.

Alberto Gheza is a urologist and andrologist specializing in male reproductive and sexual health. He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia and a specialization in Urology, complemented by a Master’s degree in Surgical Andrology and Prosthetic Implantology from La Sapienza University of Rome. He serves as Medical Director at Treviglio Caravaggio Hospital (ASST Bergamo Ovest), a national and European reference center for holmium laser treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (HoLEP). In 2024 he obtained certification as an Expert and Consultant in clinical sexuology from the Italian Institute of Integrated Sexuology. As a longevity physician at SoLongevity, he addresses male reproductive health as a key component of healthy aging.

Stefania Guida is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan, with expertise in skin imaging applied to skin aging and skin cancer. She holds an MD and a PhD in Clinical and Experimental Medicine, and trained for nearly a decade at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia — a center of excellence in dermoscopy, videomicroscopy, and reflectance confocal laser microscopy. Her research focuses on photoaging, melanocortin-1 receptor polymorphisms in skin pigmentation and tumor risk, and advanced diagnostic techniques for melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancers. She received the Sidemast Award for best publications in 2015 from the Italian Society of Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
