Paolo Capodaglio is Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Milano and Director of the Musculoskeletal and Metabolic Rehabilitation Unit and the Laboratory for Research in Biomechanics and Rehabilitation at Istituto Auxologico Italiano IRCCS. He earned his MD and specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from the University of Pavia. His research focuses on functional evaluation in aging and pathological conditions — including musculoskeletal disorders, obesity, and metabolic diseases — and the effectiveness of novel rehabilitation technologies such as photobiomodulation, cryotherapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He has published more than 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals and authored 10 books on rehabilitation science.
