Livio Luzi is Professor and Head of Endocrinology at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato and the University of Milan, and is affiliated with the Department of Endocrinology, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases at IRCCS MultiMedica, Sesto San Giovanni. His research has pioneered the clinical application of deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (dTMS) in obesity treatment, demonstrating the capacity of this technique to modulate the gut-brain axis, alter microbiome composition, reduce food cravings, and promote weight loss through neurophysiological mechanisms including endorphin system activation. He has presented his findings at major international endocrinology conferences and published extensively on metabolic diseases, neurostimulation, and aging.
