Marco Vecchiato is a physician-researcher at the Division of Sports and Exercise Medicine, Department of Medicine, University of Padova, where he specializes in sports cardiology and cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET). He holds degrees in Biotechnology (2011) and Medicine (2017) from the University of Padova and completed his residency in Sports and Exercise Medicine at the same institution. His clinical and research focus centers on exercise capacity assessment, ventilatory efficiency in cardiovascular diseases, and CPET as a prognostic tool in congenital heart disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and heart failure. He is a member of the Clinical Network of Sports and Exercise Medicine of the Veneto Region and an active contributor to the European Society of Cardiology.
