Stefano Palermi is an Associate Professor in Diseases of the Musculoskeletal System at UniCamillus – Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences, Rome. He earned his MD from the University G. D’Annunzio of Chieti (2017) and his specialization in Sports and Exercise Medicine from the University of Naples Federico II (2022). His areas of expertise include pre-participation cardiovascular evaluation, athlete’s heart, exercise prescription, spirometry, heart rate variability (HRV), and corporate wellness. He serves as regional advisor for the Italian Sports Medicine Federation (FMSI) and as a board member of the Sports Medicine Committee of SIAGASCOT. He is currently team physician for the Italian Basketball Federation and Reyer Venezia basketball club.
